Tasks and responsibilities
Our customers rely on us to solve challenging and innovative problems in the field of computer vision and medical imaging. As a senior research scientist, you will have the opportunity to conduct applied research in various fields, including machine learning, image segmentation, image registration, 3D reconstruction, and many more. Here are some of your typical future tasks:
- Solve a wider range of complex problems using our toolset of algorithms
- Design and implement state-of-the-art algorithms
- Manage customer projects from the feasibility study to the final integration
- Work in close collaboration with software engineers to build solutions
- Write patents and publish relevant research in top conferences and journals
- Supervise research students
Skills and requirements
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Engineering)
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Significant experience in medical imaging and/or computer vision
- Strong programming skills, especially in C++
- Ability to conduct applied research independently
- Proficiency in English
